How are they made?
Various techniques, such as tie-dye, block printing, or batik, are employed to create the intricate patterns. The fabric is immersed in a dye bath, layer, by layer, to achieve these deep, resplendent shades. It is then sun-dried, allowing the indigo to oxidise, gradually revealing its iconic hue. Each throw is finished with hand-stitched embroidery or adorned with tassels.
